Genting

A little get-away from a sad New Year. My grandpa and my unborn sibling went to a far far away place called Heaven. I wanted to go too but mommy says that there is no Disney Junior in Heaven, so I changed my mind.

The hotel behind us was the very first hotel in Genting.

 

 

 

 

Mommy, grandma and me enjoyed the cable car ride, but see how tightly daddy was holding onto the window. He is afraid of heights... ~Shhhh~

The adults loved the retro atmosphere of this Hainanese Restaurant. However, its service was very retro too (meaning very b.a.d).

 

 

 

For only S$6, I can go for unlimited rides in the indoor amusement park. My favourite were the train and carousel. Mommy says that we have 'earned' back the S$6 and much much more :D

 

 

Ice cream still tasted good in the cold weather. Mommy found it amusing that we were enjoying our meal of MacDonald under the big signboard of Burger King.

Spotted those cows on our way home and mommy and daddy was all excited. Me? I was like: o~k~, I see them on TV all the time, so what's the big deal?

1st Nursery Day

Mommy and daddy decided to sign me up for day nursery after a lot of thoughts.  Mommy complained that I watched Disney Junior all day and that is so not true!  I did not watch any TV when I am napping!!

Mommy told me day nursery is a place where I can learn to write, draw and paint, listen to stories, singing and play with other children.  Sounds fun to me.  The best part is, my new school is in the same building where daddy works, I can go to school and return home with daddy everyday!

After an hour of outdoor play, we returned to our classroom. I was put in N2 Apple and there were lots of new friends to play with. We sat in a circle to play a get-to-know-you game. First we shouted out our names as we passed a big towel around. Then our teacher, Ms Feng, will 'kidnapped' us by covering one of us with the big towel and we had to shout his/her name correctly to 'rescue' him/her.

Lunch time.  It was the very first time I had to get my own food and feed myself.  I was enthusiastic about it but mommy was so worried.  I think I did rather well, with only a few morsels on the table.  I saw mommy smiling proudly at me ^^

 

1st day was my 'visiting' session for just three hours, to allow me to become familiar with my new teachers and classmates.  On our way out, I saw a big pond with many big fishes.  I was all excited when mommy bought me a packet of fish food to feed those hungry fishes.

Day Two

After the usual breakfast, outdoor play and shower routine, we returned to our classroom for art lesson.  I was so engrossed in my colouring that I did not notice mommy's disappearance.

This pretty girl is my first new friend, Charmaine.  She came up to me on my 1st day and held my hand when she saw me hiding behind mommy.

Mommy rewarded me with my favourite ice cream for being a good boy ^-^
