Home Sweet Home

My daddy named me Ray when I was still just a bump 'cause mommy had a rough pregnancy and I was in danger. They held onto that "ray of hope" that I'd pull through; and look at me now – their little ray of sunshine!

Tiny fingers, tiny toes, and a whole lot of love.

My cousin, Jeremias Coen Willmott Kai Xuan, was born 74 days before me. That's why I call him "Kor Kor," and I know we'll be the best of friends.

My god-sister June (who's also my cousin) is a really smart girl. When Mommy said Jeremias kor kor's name was so cool, jie jie immediately shot back: "Yeah! Wait till he's 18 and in the army, and his officer yells 'Recruits, drop for every letter in your name!' Now that's real cool 😎"

My first bath with Mommy was a chaotic adventure! Grandma helped patiently as Mommy tried to wash me, but I wiggled and whimpered in protest.

Daddy's 36th birthday was a cozy celebration at home, since Mommy and I couldn't go out. June Jie Jie bought a delicious-looking cake for him – it was a shame I couldn't have any, as I don't have teeth yet!

Mommy jokes I'm Daddy's birthday, Christmas AND Valentine's gift all in one – no need to buy him anything else! Daddy totally agrees I'm his most precious gift ever 💖

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Hello world! I'm here!

Hello! I am Ray. That's me in the ultrasound picture!

Mommy's water broke!  We're going to the hospital now! I can't wait to meet you!

The pain intensity during contractions surprised my mommy. She decided to ask for an epidural to help manage it better. After 10 hours of labor, I was finally born.

I arrived ten days early. At birth, I weighed 3.555 kilograms and measured 51 centimeters in length.
